Honoring the Life and Legacy of Alan J. Tyma

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Alan J. Tyma, a founding member of the Valley Community Foundation, a lifelong advocate for the Valley, and a steadfast leader who dedicated his life to strengthening our community. Alan passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor his memory may contribute to the John Tyma Fund at VCF, which Alan established in honor of his father, and to other organizations close to his heart, including Project Purple and Massaro Community Farm.
