In Memorium

In Memory of Walter J. Drozeck

Everyone at the Valley Community Foundation (VCF) was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of a dear friend, fundholder, and Gates Society member, Walter Drozeck. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Drozeck family, especially his beloved wife of 62 years, Bonnie. In lieu of flowers, the family has graciously requested that donations be made to the Walter and Bonnie Drozeck Fund at VCF. Walter’s legacy is woven into the fabric of the Valley. He was a dedicated teacher for 25 years. In Shelton he served as an alderman and volunteered for years on several boards and committees. Walter lived a life of service, curiosity, and love -- a life that made the Valley stronger and more connected. He will be missed.
