In Memoriam

David M. Grant

It is with great sorrow that we share the news of the passing of David M. Grant, one of VCF’s founding board members. David was instrumental in the establishment and early success of VCF. His vision, leadership, and commitment helped lay the foundation for the organization we know today. His contributions and legacy will not be forgotten. We send our deepest condolences to his dear wife, Gail; his sons, Michael and David and his entire family. A memorial service is being planned in November. When those arrangements are made, we will be sure to share them here and online.

In Memoriam

William C. "Bill" Bassett

The Valley Community Foundation (VCF) mourns the loss of William C. “Bill” Bassett, a founding member of our Board of Directors and a guiding force in establishing VCF in 2004. Bill’s vision, warmth, and unwavering belief in the power of local philanthropy helped lay the foundation for all that VCF has accomplished in the past two decades.
