Valley Celebrates America's 250
The Valley Celebrates America’s 250 is a Valley Community Foundation initiative. VCF will award 30 grants of $500 per project to support initiatives across the five-town Valley towns of Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton. Additional funding may be available for cross-town projects and/or events. Funding will be awarded until funds are depleted.

In Memory of Robert T. Slie
The Valley Community Foundation (VCF) remembers Robert T. Slie, a beloved and longtime educator whose dedication to teaching touched generations of students at Amity Regional High School. Throughout his career, Robert shared not only knowledge, but also the encouragement, integrity and sense of purpose that define an exceptional teacher. His commitment to education will continue through the Robert T. Slie Future Educator Scholarship Fund, established by his family and friends at VCF.
