More Than 50 Valley Nonprofits to Participate in The Great Give 2024
The Great Give takes place on May 1-2, 2024
Nearly 57 Valley nonprofits — more than ever before — have signed up to participate in the 2024 Great Give on May 1-2.
The 36-hour online fundraising event, created by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven (CFGNH) in 2010, unites donors with local nonprofits in a fun and engaging way.
The Great Give raises money and awareness for area nonprofits and causes with valuable matching funds and prizes from CFGNH, the Valley Community Foundation (VCF) and other generous sponsors.
Last year, The Great Give raised more than $3.4 million for a record number of 519 nonprofits in the Valley and Greater New Haven area. More than 55 Valley-based nonprofits participated, raising nearly $404,000 for organizations in Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton.
To donate to nonprofits during The Great Give, visit TheGreatGive.org between 8 a.m. on May 1 and 8 p.m. on May 2, choose one or more charitable organizations and donate.
