For-profit small businesses in Connecticut: Looking for SBIR/STTR funding to advance your innovation? Join Connecticut Small Business Development Center's (CTSBDC) SBIR/STTR Accelerator Program and receive expert guidance on the requirements and key considerations for a successful SBIR or STTR application.


In this free 6-week virtual accelerator, you will learn:

  • What Federal Agencies seek in the SBIR/STTR program.
  • How to navigate the complexities of the application process.
  • How to conduct research, test your business concept and identify key risk factors and best practices.
  • How to define your technological innovation while aligning with Federal Agency objectives. The essentials of commercialization and how to bring your innovation to market. Opportunity to receive $1,000 worth of specialized SBIR/STTR consulting services upon completing the accelerator.
  • The programs offer non-dilutive grants (Phase I: $50K–$250K, Phase II: up to $1M) to support eligible companies to research, develop, and commercialize their innovations.
