The Class of 1940 Scholarship Fund
Est. 2016 as a designated scholarship fund for the benefits of students from Ansonia High School.

With sadness at his passing on July 27, 2018 and gratitude for the legacy he leaves, we extend our condolences to the family of Charles V. Spallino, founder of the Class of 1940 Fund.
Donations in Charles' memory to help an Ansonia High School senior attend college are welcome.
The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to one graduating senior of Ansonia High School who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement as well as demonstrable financial need. Each awardee will continue to receive an annual award for up to four years as long as he or she is enrolled in a two or four year college and maintains a 2.0 average.
